American Exchange Bank is preparing to award the Donald Wells Education Scholarship to a high school senior.
aeb logoThe scholarship was established in 2016 in memory of Donald Wells, former American Exchange Bank President and CEO.

According to AEB president Terri Thompson, the selection for this prestigious award will be made from five area schools; Henryetta, Dewar, Wilson, Schulter and Graham/Dustin.
It is a four year award worth up to $9,000, payable at $1,000 per semester and $1,000 given upon receipt of verification of enrollment in first semester of college.

“The recipient is also awarded with a paid summer internship with American Exchange Bank for up to four summers.” she said. “The selected student will go through an application process and a job interview. Preference in selection will be given to Business Majors. A 3.0 or better grade point average must be maintained throughout the scholarship period.”

Representatives from American Exchange Bank will be visiting with seniors at each of these schools and applications will be distributed at that time.
