The HHS Lady Knights softball team is among the top ten 4A slow-pitch teams in the state.
That ranking came out this week with the HHS girls noted for their 10-4 record so far this year.
Dale, traditionally a powerhouse on the diamond got the most votes and holds down first place even though that team only has a 4-1 season.
Also ahead of Henryetta is Silo (9-2), Stroud (13-2), Valliant (11-2), Prague (5-0), Mangum (6-4), Howe (6-1), Oktaha (2-0) and Washington (3-4).
Beggs, a team Henryetta has bested already this year, is in the 5A tenth spot.
Roach Ryan Swallow said he was pleased with the rating especially since, “4A is loaded with good teams.” He praised the girls for their effort and hoped to continue improving in the coming weeks.
