Okmulgee County has finally been included in the list of those approved by FEMA for public assistance.
The designation came Tuesday afternoon in a news release from Gov. Mary Fallin's office.
Also on the latest rounds of approval were Canadian, Carter, Choctaw, Coal, Le Flore, Love, Murray, and Pottawatomie counties.
To date, 25 counties have received the okay from FEMA for public assistance.
Individuals and business owners whose property was damaged from storms and flooding between May 5 and June 4 should call FEMA at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
