A Specialty Crops/Good Agricultural Practices Workshop, sponsored by Langston University and Mvskoke Food Sovereignty Initiative will be held Saturday, June 20, at the MFSI Office, is 100 East 7th St., Ste. 101 in Okmulgee.
Topics to be covered are: Seasonal High Tunnels, Crop insurance (NAP), Loans, Added-value Producer Grants, Rural Housing (62+), Home Loans, Pollinators, Climate Control, Specialty Crops.
The latest authorizing of the Farm Bill (2014) affects all of us in every state; ensuring that our farmers and ranchers have the tools they need to produce abundant and affordable crops that we need to feed our families.
