The projected April 18 construction completion date for the QuikTrip in Henryetta is drawing near and company officials are taking another step toward a tentative April 25 opening.
This week corporation officials filed their application for retail beer and wine sales with the state. That legal notice has to run two weeks in an area newspaper.
Daniel Cornelison, the construction site supervisor, said recently work had been going on on a good pace with very little delays due to weather.
He said anyone wishing to apply for employment at the store can go to the company employment website, https://www.quiktrip.com/careers. Currently the Henryetta location is not included in the list of sites but is expected to be added shortly.
