Myrtle Marie Fraser was born June 13, 1935 to Roman and Elsie (Barnett) Birdcreek. She died March 10, 2022 at the age of 86.
She was a resident of Okfuskee County all of her life. She graduated from Bryant High School in 1956. She worked for Muscogee Creek Nation for many years and attended Arbeka Indian Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Anderson Watters; her husband, George Fraser; three children, George Jr., William and Franklin; one step-daughter, Doris Armstrong.
She is survived by one son, Gary Fraser and wife Darlene of Weleetka; three daughters: Kathryn Fraser of the home in Weleetka, Diane Little of Okmulgee, and Gail Moore and husband Kenneth of Weleetka; one step-daughter, Karen Johnson of Dunlap, TN; one brother, David Watters of Salina; four sisters: Ruby Wilson of Dewar, OK, Betty Watters of Dewar, OK, Nancy Crawford of Oklahoma City, and Linda Watters of Dew; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Moore, Darion Davis, Jaylen Zackery, Matt Riddle, Wil Lowe, Carmen Garcia, Freddie Weston, Woody Tsodie, Michael Manley and Kevin Crawford.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2 pp/m/ at Arbeka Indian Baptist Church, Northeast of Weleetka.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka and officiated by Pastor Marvin Lowe.
