Barbara Elaine Farley, a lifelong resident of the Salem Community, died March 20, 2022 in Okmulgee at the age of 74. She was born Sept. 9, 1947 in Henryetta to Floyd Fowler, Sr. and Dorothy (Turner) Fowler.
Barbara was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church. She married David Gene Farley July 27th, 1966 in Okmulgee. She worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Fountain View Manor until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Farley, brothers, Floyd Fowler, Jr., and Donnie Fowler.
She is survived by two sons, David Farley III and wife Penny of Henryetta and Clayton Farler and wife Bethany of Henryetta; six grandchildren: Calla Farley, Timothy Farley, Jolie Farley, Chasidee Farley, Bryce Farley and Breanna Farley; great grandson, Cameron Davis; siblings: Mary Burchart and husband Ted of Ft. Worth, Tex., James Fowler and wife Karen of Plano, Tex., John Fowler and wife Sherry of Pauls Valley, Kay Palmeter and husband Bill of Oklahoma City, Ann Storts of Moore and Michael Fowler and wife Kathi of Arlington, Tex.; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Barbara will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Greg Williams, Jason Palmeter, Daniel Storts, Nathan Storts, Timothy Farley and Bryce Farley.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2022 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Wolfe and Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
