Mickey Dale Tarwater, a former Henryetta resident, died Aug. 18, 2022 at the age of 69. He was born Jan. 29, 1953 to James Jacob and Juanita (Westphal) Tarwater of Henryetta.
Mickey graduated from Henryetta High School in 1971 then continued his education at OSU where he graduated in 1975 and was accepted to SMU. Mickey began his career in the clothing business with his brother Jimmy. He was also a successful realtor in the Tulsa are for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Donnie.
Surviving him are a sister, Anita Yvonne Raper of Muskogee; brothers James J. and wife Bonnie Tarwater of Eufaula and Ron and wife Cathy of Okemah; nephews Shawn Raper, Terry Tarwater, Benny Tarwater, Kendal Tarwater Derrick Tarwater and Cole Tarwater; and one niece Kristen Tarwater.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
