The events of this past week made the Day of Prayer observance even more meaningful Thursday evening. Over 100 people gathered at the Henryetta civic center to raise their voices in prayer and music as they met as a community to start the healing process. Members of the Henryetta Ministerial Alliance led the special service urging everyone to keep the families affected by the tragedy in their thoughts and payers not only during that evening but for the days and weeks ahead. The event was moved into the civic center from the gazebo next door after a day of rain.
