Only minor injuries were reported in a Sunday afternoon crash involving a Henryetta police officer and Oklahoma Highway Patrol vehicle.
Both were responding to separate accident calls when they collided at the intersection of Fifth and Main streets. The impact sent the OHP vehicle onto the sidewalk comng to rest in the landscaping area just a few feet short of striking a couple of business fronts.
The Henryetta police car was going north on Fifth Street and, according to a witness, the traffic light was green. The OHP trooper was westbound on Main. Both vehicles were said to have had their emergency lights operating at the time of the crash.
