Jill Francis was sworn in as the new Henryetta Economic Development Authority Trustee Thursday morning. Francis will fill out the unexpired term vacated by the resignation of Steve Pearson.
Another vacancy on the HEDA board came up this past month when Mike Meek submitted his resignation. Meek cited other duties as the reason for stepping down.
That term is a five year period. Any one interested in serving is asked to contact Gary Clason at 918-652-7021 and request to be on the meeting agenda. All prospective candidates are to address the HEDA trustees at a regular meeting and state why they want to serve.
The candidate nominated by HEDA trustees will have to be approved by the city council.
