Henryetta is going to be looking for a city manager.
At the Tuesday night council meeting recently-named city manager Ron Casey announced his retirement effective Sept. 1. He was appointed to that position in April.
That position was the topic for a lengthy discussion in eecutive session by the council. 
Council members named city clerk Donna White as interim city manager and said they would start a search for Casey’s replacement.
“This is temporary,” said councilman Steve Sanford. “We will find someone and get them in as fast as we can.”
The council voted to draft a help wanted notice that has be placed for ten days.
