Retiring Henryetta hospital administrator Dee Renshaw was the center of attention Friday as friends and staff members gathered for a party in his honor.
Tables were spotted with a series of “Dee-isms”, quotes that Renshaw was fond of saying, along with wishes for a happy retirement. Hospital board member Dr. David Warden was the guest speaker echoing the feelings of all present as they said farewell.
Renshaw served as Henryetta facility administrator twice, the first time from 2001 to 2006 then again from 1009 until this August.
During his tenure, he oversaw the expansion of the hospital’s emergency room and the $4 million remodel of about 40% of the hospital.
He is being replaced by Eric Eaton, the director of operations for Hillcrest Claremore
