Another Henryetta Labor Day celebration has been put in the history books. The weather was typical of September , hot, muggy and full of sunshine yet everyone managed to enjoy the day.
Thousands of spectators lined Main Street to watch the parade then hit the carnival rides, strolled through the First Family Federal Credit Union car show and had fun with the kids games.
By the end of the day, it was time for a break so Elvis (aka Brent Giddens) delighted the audience at the football field.

Band Competition: Division 1 first place went to Weleetka. Division 2 first was won by Oktaha. Division 3 first resulted in a tie with Checotah and Sapulpa.
Band contest second place division 1 was won by Dewar. Division 2 went to Henryetta with Caney Valley placing third.
Winning the title race was Madlyn Austin, first, Cason Frair, second and Koda and Desi Hill, third.
In the front jumping contest, Max Martin had the winning entry with Pearl Martin's frog placing third.
