Dawni Brison August 3 1952 – May 9 2026

Dawni Brison, a resident of Dewar, Oklahoma, passed away on May 9, 2026. She was born on August 3, 1952, to Dwight and Melba (Bicknell) Snider. She married Ronnie Wayne Brison on June 18, 1971, in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Dawni worked for Henryetta Public Schools before retiring from Dewar Public Schools. She also kept the books for her husband’s appliance repair business, served as secretary at Simons Funeral Home, and was an avid Dewar Booster supporter. Dawni was a faithful member of Dewar First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronnie Wayne Brison.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Wayne Brison II and wife Amber of Dewar, Oklahoma; grandsons, Jentry Brison and wife Molli of Henryetta, James Brison and fiancée Kathryn of Oklahoma City, and Jeron Brison of Dewar; great-grandson, Wyatt Brison; and brother, Mick Snider and wife Teresa of Edmond.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
