At The Henryettan, we believe in nurturing young talent and fostering practical learning for students in our community. Through our Community Pages, hosted on thehenryettan.com, we offer schools and nonprofits a unique platform—completely free of charge—to share their stories and projects. This initiative, supported by generous donations and local businesses committed to education, is designed to spark interest in media and technology among students from as early as 3rd grade up to 8th grade.

Our recent visit to Ryal, Hanna and Graham Dustin Public Schools it marked a milestone for this project. We held some engaging classes with students, introducing them to the basics of media and online publishing. With a hands-on approach, students explored how to create simple websites, write content, and publish their work online. These Community Pages give them a real-world taste of media, teaching them skills like web design, content creation, and the fundamentals of digital publishing.

The Henryettan staff are dedicating their time and expertise to guide students through this learning journey. Beyond basic publishing, we also show students how to navigate more technical aspects, such as video streaming and live broadcasts, introducing them to tools that may inspire future careers in journalism, broadcasting, or digital media.

These efforts are not only aimed at enriching the educational experience but also at creating a safe, supportive space where students can experiment, learn, and grow. The Community Pages serve as a platform for students to showcase their work, gain confidence in their abilities, and see firsthand the impact of their contributions.

With the support of local donors and businesses, we are bringing the media world into the classroom, fostering curiosity and technical skills. By empowering students through practical learning, we hope to inspire the next generation of storytellers, creators, and media professionals.
