Henryetta welcomed the holiday season with a burst of festive spirit as a group of local residents hosted the inaugural Christmas pageant, “Nutcracker Dreams: Supreme Pageant of Enchantment.” Organized by community members Abby Rocha, Britney Gartell, Mackenzie Cook and Megan Sullivan, the event filled a gap in the town’s

traditions, offering a magical experience akin to the annual Labor Day festivities.

The pageant, held on November 16th at 10 a.m. at Joy in Life Church, drew a remarkable turnout, with families and participants coming together to celebrate the holidays. The team behind the event chose the theme to evoke the wonder and magic of the season, ensuring every detail was infused with enchantment.

From sparkling decorations to heartwarming performances, “Nutcracker Dreams” captured the essence of community and holiday joy.

“We wanted to spread the holiday spirit and give our community a chance to be part of something special,” shared Britney Gartrell. “The turnout and support from everyone were incredible. It was a reminder of how strong and united Henryetta truly is.”

The organizers expressed gratitude to all who attended and promised more pageants in the future. With plans already in the works, the team aims to establish these events as cherished traditions, bringing joy and connection to Henryetta for years to come.

This year’s pageant was just the beginning of what promises to be a growing tradition, lighting up the holiday season in Henryetta with community pride and festive charm.
