Henryetta, OK – The highly anticipated Oklahoma Pyrex Swap is set to return on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Briefcase event center, located at 315 W Main Street, Henryetta, OK. Doors will open to the public at 10:15 AM, and admission is free for attendees.
Sponsored by Bee’s Knees Vintage and First Family Credit Union, both based in Henryetta, this beloved event invites vintage kitchenware enthusiasts from near and far to browse, shop, and connect with fellow col- lectors. Whether you are a seasoned Pyrex collector or just beginning your journey into the world of vintage
glassware, the Oklahoma Pyrex Swap provides a welcoming space to share stories, celebrate nostalgia, and dis- cover that perfect addition to your collection.
Pyrex Swaps have evolved into vibrant gatherings where vendors showcase a wide array of rare and sought- after pieces. More than just a marketplace, the event celebrates the craftsmanship and enduring charm of vin- tage kitchenware. The growing interest in these timeless treasures reflects a collective longing for the warmth and authenticity of bygone eras, as well as an appreciation for items that bring beauty and durability to every- day life.
A Pyrex Swap is like a vendor fair. The “swap” refers to a dedicated time slot from 9:30–10:15 AM where on- ly vendors can trade items among themselves before the event opens to the public.
The term “swap” honors Pyrex collector traditions—similar to how a flea market doesn’t sell fleas!
Absolutely! Public shopping begins at 10:15 AM, and we’re counting on enthusiastic buyers to make this event a success!
There are significant costs to hosting the event, and vendor fees help cover these expenses. Allowing non-
vendors to sell or swap would discourage vendor participation and could jeopardize the event’s future. Addi- tionally, selling from boxes and wagons creates safety and liability concerns.
No, all vendor spots must be reserved in advance. Follow the Oklahoma Pyrex Swap Facebook page (@Oklahoma_Pyrex_Swap) for updates on available vendor spaces. The Briefcase can accommodate 20 ven- dor spots, with possible expansion.
No, this is a free event for attendees.
In addition to a treasure trove of vintage Pyrex, expect to see vintage kitchenware from brands like Hazel At- las, Federal, McKee, Corningware, and Corelle, as well as charming collectibles that complement Pyrex
displays. Some vendors may also offer Pyrex-themed shirts, totes, and other custom creations.
No. Doors will open to the public at 10:15 AM—there will be no early bird access.
The Briefcase is a beautifully restored historic building used for local events. It offers a temperature- controlled, carpeted space with restrooms, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience.
