Danny Lee Raber was born in Fresno, California on January 6, 1969. He died at the age of 55 in his home in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Dan is survived by his 4 children Jessica Soares of Dos Palos, CA, Joshua Candelaria of Clovis, CA, Logan Simms of Oregon, and Sydney Helm-Rodriguez of Fresno, CA, sister Michelle Boggs of Lebanon, MO, brother, Duane Raber of California, brother, Mike Raber, and sister, Dianne Raber, and 4 grandsons Masen, Jaxon and Colten Soares, and Maliki Simms. He is preceded in Death by His sister Melanie Johnson, Mother Nancy Wilfong-Moren, and Father Glen H. Raber.

Dan was Married to Darleen Clancy Raber for over 20 happy years.

Dan was a fun-loving guy. He thrived on being with people and making friends. He often spoke of his many “buddies” that he had in various places. He would recall amusing anecdotes and would light up with laughter as he retold the stories. Dan also had a nurturing soul. He had a rare connection with animals and loved caring for them. He had a vast knowledge of zoology and enjoyed learning about his different animals. Dan wasn’t greedy, he always gave generously for small favors or acts of service. Dan was a very talented builder. He worked meticulously with his hands. He sustained a thriving construction business for many years. When Dan saw things that were broken, he wanted to fix them. He saw their potential and restored them to life. Danny was strong and independent for many years, but unfortunately, he couldn’t restore himself back to life.

He wanted to maintain his independence and therefore did not seek help when he needed it most. Let Dan be a help one more time. He would love that, to know he’s helped someone even after his death. We can all learn from Dan’s life. We must learn that at some point we all will need help. We must be willing to listen to our loved ones, to accept their help and be willing to change. We must learn to seek professional help when necessary. Most of all we should learn to seek spiritual help, no matter how strong we keep our bodies, our minds, our emotions, we still have an appointment with death. (Hebrews 9:27) We are frail (Psalm 39.4) and life is short. (James 4:14) True strength comes from God through Jesus Christ.(Colossians1:11, Philippians 4:13)

Let Dan help you with the most important decision of your life. Get spiritual help, call unto God today. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Confess, with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

You will be saved from eternal hell, to dwell in heaven with God forever.

We love you Dan, and we will miss you!

Robert Wade Haworth, 60, of Morris, OK passed away Monday, October 29th after a battle with COPD and lung cancer. In the same way he lived, he passed peacefully surrounded by his family.
Wade was born in Tulsa, OK on June 13th, 1964 to Wendall and Freda Haworth. He joined his older brother Leon and became the middle child six years later when his sister Kara was born. When Wade was in the third grade, Wendall bought a small auto parts business in Morris called The Parts Barn and moved his family to the tiny town.
Wade grew up in Morris Schools playing sports and developing a deep “Eagle Pride” with his coaches and friends. In high school, Wade took two things very seriously — playing football and scaring off any boys trying to date his baby sister. He was great at both things and at one point even held the record for Most Tackles in Morris Football history.
After graduating in 1982, Wade attended East Central University and walked on to play Tiger Football. In his second year of college, tragedy drew him home when the 1984 Morris Tornado tore up his hometown and nearly killed his mother. To help his family and hometown, he dropped out of school and moved back to help care for Freda Rae and rebuild The Parts Barn.
Wade met the love of his life Becky when friends set them up on a blind date in 1985. Wild, adventurous dates gave way to a quiet certainty they wanted to spend their lives together. They married in 1986 at a wedding ceremony that just happened to fall on that year’s OU-OSU Bedlam Game. You better believe Wade attended the game and made it to the church just a little late for pictures.
The couple lived in Oklahoma City for a few years until moving back to Morris to raise their three children closer to family. In fact, their kids remember fondly being within walking distance of their grandparents and aunt and uncle.
Wade was nothing if not a hard worker. He would leave for work at 3am and never missed kissing the kids goodbye as they slept. After long shifts and commuting home with dirty hands and jeans, he’d often pick up a basketball and wow his kids by making a corner shot in the driveway basketball goal on his way into the house. As committed as he was to hard work, he showed the same dedication to his kids’ activities by always attending sporting events and band contests.
In 2008, Wade became a grandfather and found a new role to play in life as Pops. He loved being a grandfather more than anything. From fishing and Kubota rides; to haunted trails and reading story books over and over, Wade made time for his eight grandkids.
Wade and Becky decided a great way to create memories with their kids and grandkids would be to gift an annual vacation each summer. As the family grew from 5 to 10 to 16, they criss-crossed the country together sitting on beaches and summiting mountains. Wade even made three trips to Grand Canyon specifically to share it with his wife and kids as well as his sister Kara and brother Leon.
Wade Haworth led a full life packed into his sixty years. But in that time he said some tough goodbyes to people he loved as he was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell Leon Sr. and Freda Rae Haworth, and his brother, Wendell Leon Jr. But he leaves a legacy of generosity and love for family as he is survived by his beautiful wife of 38 years, Becky Haworth; his children: Chris and Heidi Fox of Moore, OK; Cassady and Ethan Crocker of De Queen, AR; Katie and Trevor Thorman of Tulsa, OK; his treasured grandchildren: Ephraim, Adelaide, and Anderson Fox; Hattie and Hayes Crocker; and Finnick, Everett, Solomon Thorman; his step-mother Carolyn Haworth of Morris, OK; his younger sister Kara Kuhlman of Beggs, OK; his nephew Jesse and wife Sage of Okemah, OK; his niece Taylor and husband Tanner of Mounds, OK; his step-brothers Grant of Oklahoma City, OK and Bryan and wife Lisa of Denham Springs, LA; his step-sister Tracey and husband Jimmy of Denham Springs, LA; and many other loving family in Yale, OK and Denham Springs, LA.
Visitation with the family will be held at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Morris on Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A memorial service is planned at Trinity Baptist Church in Morris for Monday, November 4th at 10:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, a cause that Wade supported for many years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Morris. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Wade‘s Tribute Page of our website. www.mcclendon-winters.com

Candy Naifeh Barnard passed to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa. Candy was born on February 1, 1951 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Zeke and Dee Naifeh, who preceded her in death.
Candy proved to be gifted at an early age. In the sixth grade she won a national penmanship contest. In eighth grade she won a choir royalty contest and when the boy who also won leaned in to kiss her, she turned her cheek. This made her father very happy.
Candy was a very gifted vocalist. In high school, she made the all-state choir all three years she was eligible and consequently earned a vocal music scholarship at Oklahoma State University, where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Music Education. After college she taught music at Kensler Elementary in Wichita, Kansas while her husband Gary was in the Airforce at McConnel Air Force Base. Candy and Gary moved to Okmulgee in 1976 where Candy taught vocal music, K-12, at Morris, Oklahoma high school. During this time in Okmulgee, Candy shared her beautiful voice by singing in the First United Methodist Church Choir and many weddings and funerals in the area. Candy also gave students private lessons in voice, piano, guitar and violin, plus teaching an adult Spanish class.
From the beginning, Candy expressed her love for Christ in everything she did. Her students loved her because she showed them how much she loved them. She impacted adults in the same way by being the example of love that was Christ.
When physical and medical problems prevented her from teaching, Candy poured herself into her Bible study to keep her faith strong.
Candy is survived by her husband, Gary, daughter Camille Miller and grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Miller.
As most know, Candy was a hardcore Oklahoma State Cowboy Sports Fan, having season basketball tickets for several years and season football tickets for over forty years. So, at the viewing from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home, Candy will be in her usual OSU orange.
Candy’s Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church. This will be a casual celebration and everyone who has orange should wear orange.
In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to the Okmulgee First United Methodist Church Pantry. This would make Candy very happy because they feed the less fortunate here in Okmulgee.
The family requests no home visits at this time.
Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Candy‘s Tribute Page of our website. www.mcclendon-winters.com
