Obituary For Larry Rogers July 18 1937 – October 6 2025

Larry Franklin Rogers, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on October 6, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.

Larry was born on July 18, 1937, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Crownover) Rogers. He attended Dill City Schools and began his career working in road construction, helping to build major Oklahoma highways including Interstate 40 and the Indian Nation Turnpike. After his time in construction, Larry went to work at the refinery in Okmulgee and later retired from Sinclair Oil Refinery in Tulsa.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Chris Rogers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Rogers, of the home; his sons, Shawn Rogers and wife Lisa, and Scott Rogers and wife Cheri; his grandchildren, Ross Rogers, Samantha Rogers, Kaitlyn Britt, and Grace Rogers; and his great-grandchildren, Brinklee Green, Kimber Rogers, Keegan Britt, and Briggs Britt.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow at New Senora Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
